Please put your hands together for our friends Sketchy the Clown and Fesso! They’re amazing talents. If you find yourself in Toronto, Canada, make sure to check out their crazy ass vaudeville circus show Lunacy Cabaret. Mullet’s often in it!
Intermission: Pin Up by Hector Turner
by millerandmullet on April 27, 2011 at 12:00 amKam and Allan are taking off one more week. Last we heard, Kam was in Budapest and Allan was in the bar. Regular strips resume Wednesday, May 4th.
In the meantime, check out this outstanding pin up graciously done by Allan’s brother, Hector Turner. Hector not only draws like a pro (he is a pro) but makes an AMAZING Halloween haunt! Every year he hand builds more lifesize props. He doesn’t sell any, which is too bad for you because you will want them. But don’t despair, his site is full of step-by-step tutorials so you can create a haunt of your very own. So get building. There are only 187 days left ’til Halloween!
Can you spot the cameos?
So ends Part 1 of this little story we’ve been telling for… gee, over a year now. Now we’re going to take a month off to help Mullet prep his Toronto Fringe Festival show coming this July (details coming soon)! Then we’ll come back and kick off Part 2. It’s already in the works and it’s going to be epic. But just because this storyline’s going on hiatus for a few weeks doesn’t mean there won’t be updates. Be sure to come back next week for a special surprise!
We’re BACK!! We took off June to help Mullet prep his Toronto Fringe Festival debut! And while we were off, we posted the ENTIRE Miller & Mullet in Space comic book. We hope you enjoyed that 22-page trip to the future/back in time to our first foray into comics. Now it’s time to return to regular Wednesday strips and pick up where our story left off. And for our first week back we’re delighted to present guest artist Hector Turner, master of macabre! I think you’ll agree he was the perfect choice for this week’s strip.
Oh and speaking of the Fringe, it opened TODAY! Mullet was at the opening ceremonies live in person meeting fans and getting interviewed by Bill Coulter for Global TV! Mullet’s Make-a-Play opens THIS Friday the 8th and runs to the 16th. If you’re going to be in Toronto, trust us, you won’t want to miss seeing Mullet in his very own live stage show. No one puts on a show like Mullet! Which is a good thing, because otherwise theatre insurance rates would probably skyrocket.
Sorry this one’s a bit late. Blame Mullet for monopolizing our time, NOT our amazing colorist Chris Burke who is also this week’s guest artist! Chris was super sick and still pulled through with finished art by deadline.. but then came Mullet… Anyway it’s up now and forever. Enjoy! And thank you Chris!
